Rocky Goodman (Buck Stark Service Award)

Rocky Goodman of San Antonion, Texas, joined the TSSA in 1984 and within a few years became a major competitor in Texas skeet shooting. Rocky has earned 12 TSSA State First Teams and has been on the Second Team 7 times. He has been on the NSSA All American Open Teams 3 times.

In 1993 Rocky won the Winchester 650 at the World Shoot with a score of 648×650.  That same shoot Rocky took the center stage of the podium with his .410 World title and was Runner-Up in Doubles.  
 
Rocky has two 400x400s to his credit.  One shot at the Frank Laudano Open in 1996 and one shot at Fort Worth Trap and Skeet during the Cowtown in 2006.  Rocky participates in 15 to 20 shoots per year and is very active within the TSSA organization.  He has been TSSA president and is on the NSSA Board of Directors, actively promoting and contributing to the game of skeet throughout Texas and Zone VI.  Rocky has instructed many shooters throughout his skeet career, especially the young beginners.
 
A pleasant person, avid hunter, sportsman, and tough competitor, we send our congratulations to Rocky!  You deserve the Texas Hall of Fame honor.
