Gayle Osborne
Gayle began her shooting career in 1983 in Montana. It dd not take her very long to discover the greatness of Texas Skeet. Gayle has been named to 12 Ladies All American teams, 9 Ladies All State teams (twice named Captain), has won 4 Ladies World Titles, and has won 14 Ladies State Titles. She lists her greatest achievement in skeet, however, as her 5th place finish in the 1991 Open 28 gauge World Championships that Jimm Biddle went on to win.
Gayle’s list of people who have influenced her skeet career the most include General Ken Pletcher — and, “All the shooters who will never win major championships, but shoot for the love of the game.”
Some may describe Gayle as a gregarious extrovert. They would be correct! Her very sociable nature has made her a favorite among Texas shooters.
