The Buck Stark Service Award is posthumously awarded to Ann Hill.  Her husband John served as TSSA Secretary/Treasurer from 1995 to 2008.  In addition to being John’s wife, Ann was also his partner in basically running the day-to-day operations of the TSSA during those years.  As she was not one for the limelight, many did not realize how much work she did behind the scenes.  She took on the tasks of the TSSA Newsletter, all TSSA mailings, writing computer programs for score reporting, working on, and updating the TSSA website, handling all the awards for the All-State Teams and TSSA banquet, in addition to volunteering her help at many shoots around Texas.  Interestingly, Ann was inducted into the Longview Women’s Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1996.
