Harry Mach (Buck Stark Award Winner)
Harry Mach is well deserving of the Buck Stark Service Award and entry into the Texas Skeet Shooting Hall of Fame. Over the past thirty or so years Harry has always taken a leadership role in the Association and in his other activities. During Harry’s term as TSSA President, the TSSA was awarded NSSA’s Association of the Year Award (1997).
Harry is a man who has kept close to his family. When his boys were growing into men, he encouraged them as shooters. Cora Sue was involved in the family skeet activities as well. Even today, you can often see the whole family shooting together.
The greatest legacy that Harry has given to skeet is his ability to recognize and manage quality people. During his presidency of the TSSA, Harry made sure that the Association did all it could to improve itself. In addition, while working with the TSSA, Harry spent hours working to help the Greater Houston Gun Club, the San Antonio Gun Club, and the Waco Gun Club. If help was needed, Mach always stepped up!
Harry has served skeet well over the years, and his recognition is most appropriate. Congratulations, Harry Mach.
