Kathleen McGinn Sedlecky
Kathleen McGinn Sedlecky
Shotgun shooting was part of her life from day one. At age 12, she began blasting skeet targets and for the next five years, few Junior shooters could match her shooting in the Junior Lady division. In 13 years, she accumulated 12 World Championships and one Open title – the Western Open. Kathy would make the Ladies high average list 17 times; set 8 World Records and was a member of the All American team 10 times. Kathy was married to Pro Ken Sedlecky and once retired from shooting, spent hours and days working in the Museum to make it better. She also later in her career was a successful ATA trapshooter and won Gold and silver medals in International competitions. One of the greatest Lady shooters of alltime, she truly qualifies as a Clay Target Legend.
