Woody Anderson was most deserving of the Buck Stark Service Award.  He dedicated countless hours to our game and worked to grow the game at every opportunity.

Woody was a lifelong resident of Texas.  He started shooting registered targets in 1997 after a short stint with the game of trap.  

Woody was a life member in both the Texas Skeet Shooters Association and the National Skeet Shooting Association.  He was a member of the Dallas Gun Club and served as its President and served, for many years, as its skeet chairman.  He was also president of the Rockwall Gun Club and the DeSoto Gun Club (Ellis County Sportsman’s Club).  He served as a TSSA Director, Vice President, and President.  He became the TSSA Secretary Treasurer in 2007 and held this position until his passing in 2021.
